Remote Keyless Entry Functions Are Inoperable
- Disconnect remote control door lock receiver Black, 16-pin connector C1. Connect test light between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "E" (Orange/Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 2). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
- Connect test light between remote control door lock receiver connector terminals "N" (Black wire) and "E" (Orange/Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 4). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Repair open circuit in Black wire between remote control door lock receiver and ground. Verify system operation.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between remote control door lock receiver connector terminals "J" (Yellow wire) and "N" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 7). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5).
- Repair open circuit in Yellow wire between fuse block and remote control door lock receiver. Verify system operation.
- Repair open circuit in Orange or Orange/Black wire between remote control door lock receiver and multifunction alarm module connector. Verify system operation.
- Replace remote control door lock receiver. Verify system operation.
