Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair





Engine Oil Pressure Switch Replacement (L01)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The engine oil pressure switch (1) is located in the engine block just above the oil filter (2).

1. Raise and suitably support the hood.
2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the oil pressure sensor (1) from the block.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor (1) to the block.

Tighten
Tighten the engine oil pressure sensor to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

2. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Close the hood.
