Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 GMC Safari and 2001 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove fuel pipe shield from frame bracket by removing 2 nuts. See Figure .
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). See Figure .
  3. Remove 4 T 25 TORX(R) mounting screws that fasten EBCM to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). Remove EBCM from BPMV. See Figure . Removal may require a light amount of force.
