Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Safari and 2003 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the remote keyless entry antenna to the vehicle.
  2. Install the remote keyless entry antenna (1) to the carrier.

  3. Connect the remote keyless entry antenna (1) to the receiver (2).
  4. Install the instrument panel cluster. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  6. Reprogram the transmitter. Refer to TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING .
  7. Verify that the system operates properly.
