Automatic Transaxle - 3T40

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) assembly.
3. Remove the governor compression ring.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) assembly.
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Adjust the transmission oil level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking Procedure.
