Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the BCM by pushing the top of the BCM up into the mounting bracket. Then, while holding the BCM up, engage the bottom into the mounting bracket slot.
  2. Connect the BCM electrical connectors.
  3. Install the left IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
  5. Set up the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration
