Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
  3. Disconnect the BCM electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the BCM by pushing the BCM up and pulling the bottom out of the mounting bracket slot.
