Using Spare Key

Use Interrogator (J-35628-A) or equivalent to determine proper value or code of ignition key resistor pellet. Insert spare ignition key into key code reader on Interrogator (J-35628-A). Turn on Interrogator (J-35628-A). A number from 1-15 will appear in window of Interrogator (J-35628-A). This number is resistor pellet code of ignition key. See PASS-KEY(R) II KEY RESISTANCE  table. Cut a new ignition key with resistor pellet code identified with Interrogator (J-35628-A). Start engine using new ignition key. This verifies ignition key is mechanically and electrically correct.
