Removal & Installation (2.2L - Saturn "L" Series)

  1. Remove right side instrument panel lower dash insulator retainers. Remove right side heater outlet assembly retainer and remove outlet. Remove glove box door. Remove glove box with BCM attached. Disconnect BCM harness connectors if necessary.
  2. Remove PCM-to-bracket screws. Disconnect PCM harness connectors and remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Program replacement PCM using appropriate equipment and latest software. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
