A/C Compressor Control Module

A/C compressor control module is mounted to top of evaporator case. A/C compressor control module controls operation of A/C compressor clutch in response to signals received from A/C refrigerant pressure switch, evaporator thermistor and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). With the A/C system in operation, the A/C compressor control module engages the compressor clutch upon demand and when conditions are favorable, and de-energizes the clutch when system pressure is high or low, evaporator temperature signal is low, or engine demand is high.
