Cruise Control Functional Switches
- CRUISE ON/OFF
CRUISE ON/OFF switch is the power switch for cruise control system. When ignition is turned off, CRUISE ON/OFF will also turn off. The CRUISE ON/OFF switch remains off even when ignition is turned on again.
- SET/COAST
When cruise lever is moved down to SET/COAST position while in cruise control mode (CRUISE indicator light on), and vehicle speed greater than 25 MPH, CCM stores vehicle speed and maintains that speed.
- RES/ACC (Resume/Accelerate)
If cruise control system is cancelled, vehicle set speed can be resumed at the previously set speed by moving cruise lever to RES/ACC (resume/accelerate) position. Set speed, however, cannot be resumed and CCM speed memory will be cleared if vehicle speed drops to less than 25 MPH, ignition switch is turned to OFF position or CRUISE ON/OFF switch is pressed in OFF position.
- CANCEL
When cruise lever is pulled toward driver (CANCEL position), a cancellation signal is sent from CRUISE ON/OFF switch to CCM.
