Self-Diagnostic System: Notes
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, radio will go into anti-theft protection mode. Obtain radio anti-theft protection code from owner prior to servicing vehicle.
NOTE:
Before proceeding with cruise control self-diagnostic system, ensure preliminary inspection has been performed. See PRELIMINARY INSPECTION
under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
When vehicle is in cruise control mode, system will cancel due to any malfunction in actuator, speed sensor or CRUISE ON/OFF switch circuit. When cruise control functions are canceled, CRUISE indicator light will blink 5 times, indicating a 2-digit DTC is stored in Cruise Control Module (CCM) memory. DTCs are retrieved using cruise control indicator light. Scan tool diagnostics are not available for cruise control system.
If a fault or symptom exists, but no DTCs were set, go to SYMPTOM TESTS .
