Vehicle Speed Sensor: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) electrical connector. Remove the one retaining bolt (1) and the VSS (2) from the transaxle. See Figure . Inspect the VSS O-ring for cuts or damage. Replace as necessary.
