Powertrain Control Module (Pcm)

Cruise control servo sends a signal to PCM through cruise engaged output terminal when cruise control is engaged. Cruise control servo cruise inhibit input terminal is a circuit used by PCM to inhibit cruise control when conditions inconsistent with cruise operation exist. If PCM determines that any cruise control inhibit conditions exist, PCM requests that the cruise control servo suspend cruise control operation. PCM accomplishes this request by opening the cruise inhibit output circuit. If the cruise engage output signal, sent by the cruise control servo to PCM, indicates that cruise control is still engaged after PCM has requested that cruise control disengage, PCM sets a DTC.
