Diagnostic Procedure

  1. If power sliding door system check has been performed, go to next step. If power sliding door system check has not been performed, perform power sliding door system check. See POWER SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  2. Perform PSD reinitialization procedure. See POWER SLIDING DOOR REINITIALIZATION  under PROGRAMMING. Enter diagnostic mode 1. Read DTCs. If DTC 14 has reset, go to next step. If DTC 14 has not reset, go to step  4.
  3. Replace RSDACM. See REAR SIDE DOOR ACTUATOR CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to step  5.
  4. Problem is intermittent. Check suspected circuits for poor terminal contact, wire chafing and damage to connector bodies.
  5. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reconnect any connectors/components removed. Perform PSD reinitialization procedure. See POWER SLIDING DOOR REINITIALIZATION  under PROGRAMMING. If PSD operates normally, system is okay. If PSD does not operate normally, perform power sliding door system check. See POWER SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
