Diagnostic System Check
- If PASS-Key(R) III module detects a problem, SECURITY indicator light will flash twice per second and engine will not run until problem is repaired. Check system connectors and grounds. Check and diagnose other system Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) prior to diagnosing PASS-Key(R) III system.
- Check PASS-Key(R) III fuse (10-amp) and PCM/PASS-Key(R)/CLUSTER fuse (10-amp) located in fuse block. Connect scan tool. Check for PCM and PASS-Key(R) III system DTCs. If DTCs exist, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INDEX table. If no DTCs exist, diagnose by symptom. See SYMPTOM TESTS .
