Power Steering Pressure Switch

The Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch is located in power steering pump housing. PSP switch signals PCM when power steering pressure is applied. PCM uses this signal to control the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, increasing engine idle and preventing poor engine idle performance. For component locations, see Figure or Figure .
