Remote transmitter unit is a battery powered, water resistant, radio frequency signal generator. Two remote transmitters are provided with each vehicle. RCDLR is capable of recognizing up to 4 remote transmitters. Replacement remote transmitters for vehicle may be obtained, however RCDLR must be reprogrammed to accept new remote transmitter.
