Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Remove both the attaching bolts (1).
3. Remove the electrical connector (3) from the fuel tank pressure sensor.
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install both of the retaining bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 3.5 N.m (30 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the fuel tank pressure sensor.
4. Install the fuel tank.
