Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - Programming Verification

1. Perform the scan tool clear DTC Information function.
2. Attempt to start the engine.
3. Repeat the Service Programming procedure if the engine does not start or has an engine performance concern.
4. Inspect the connections of the following components:
^ The Techline Terminal
^ The scan tool
^ The data link connector (DLC)
^ The PCM
5. Attempt to program the control module. If the programming fails again, replace and program a new PCM. Refer to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Replacement.
