Automatic Door Lock Modes

  1. Enter feature customization mode. See ENTER FEATURE CUSTOMIZATION MODE  . Press and release any power door lock switch. Count number of chimes in order to determine current mode (1-4). See AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK OPERATION MODES  table.

    1 Disabled Disabled Disabled
    2 Enabled Disabled Disabled
    3 Enabled Enabled Disabled
    4 Enabled Disabled Enabled
  2. To change mode, press and release any power door lock switch to LOCK position to advance to next mode until desired mode is reached. Chime will sound number of times equivalent to mode. Chime indicator sequence will repeat after chime sounds for mode 4. Mode 3 is default mode.
  3. To exit and save current feature customization mode settings, turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reinstall BCM PRGRM (10-amp) fuse. If unable to change locking control modes, diagnose power door lock fault. See DOORS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
