Content Theft Deterrent Arming/Disarming Modes

  1. Enter feature customization mode. See ENTER FEATURE CUSTOMIZATION MODE  . Insert a second key into any door lock cylinder. Rotate key to UNLOCK position and hold for one second. Count number of chimes in order to determine current mode (1-3). See CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM ARMING/DISARMING MODES  table.

  2. To change mode, rotate second key or press PANIC button on Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system transmitter (if equipped) to advance to next mode until desired mode is reached, then remove second key. Chime will sound number of times equivalent to mode. Chime indicator sequence will repeat after chime sounds for mode 3. Mode 1 is default mode.
  3. To exit and save current feature customization mode settings, turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reinstall BCM PRGRM (10-amp) fuse. If unable to change content theft deterrent arming/disarming modes, diagnose anti-theft system fault. See THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
