DTC B3031: Key Decoder Device On Assembly Learn Mode: Testing

  1. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. If a 10-minute or 30-minute relearn procedure is performed, all keys not learned at that time will be erased and will not be recognized. Perform adding keys procedure on all keys. See ADDING KEYS  under PROGRAMMING. After repair, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle within code enable criteria. If DTC resets, repeat test beginning at step  2 .
