Enter Feature Customization Mode

Turn instrument panel dimmer switch fully to right position, then slightly left. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) PRGRM (10-amp) fuse from fuse block. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. BCM first identifies what type of BCM is installed on vehicle by sounding an auxiliary chime 2, 3 or 4 times. Ensure BCM type currently installed is correct for equipment and features of vehicle. See BODY CONTROL MODULE TYPE VERIFICATION in BODY CONTROL MODULES - MONTANA, SILHOUETTE & VENTURE article. After BCM type is identified, BCM will enter into feature customization mode. Feature customization settings can now be programmed. See appropriate procedure(s) under FEATURE CUSTOMIZATION MODES in BODY CONTROL MODULES - MONTANA, SILHOUETTE & VENTURE article.
