REAR OBJECT ALARM DETECTION MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right rear compartment side trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower in Interior Trim.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear object detection module.
3. Remove the mounting bolts from the rear object detection module.
4. Remove the rear object detection module from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the rear object detection module to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the rear object detection module mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the rear object detection module mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the electrical connector to the rear object detection module and press in locking tab.
4. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower in Interior Trim.
