CONDITION
Some customers may comment on the Service Engine Soon (SES) light coming on. Upon investigation, the technician will find diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0135 set, regarding oxygen sensor performance.
CAUSE
Condition may be due to failure of the oxygen sensor.
CORRECTION
Follow the SI diagnostics to confirm that the oxygen sensor has failed. Replace the oxygen sensor. After replacing the sensor, verify that the vehicle has been programmed with the latest service calibration. If the vehicle does not have the latest service calibration listed in TIS2000 version 2.5 or higher released February 22, 2003, then reprogram the vehicle.
