Fastener Tightening Specifications

Lower Control Arm Mounting Nuts (Front) 125 N.m 107 lb ft
Lower Control Arm Mounting Nuts (Rear) 50 N.m 37 lb ft
Strut Lower Nuts(1) 123 N.m 90 lb ft
Tie Rod Jam Nuts 68 N.m 50 lb ft
Tie Rod Jam Nuts (Rear) 62 N.m 45 lb ft
(1) This is a prevailing torque type fastener. This fastener may be reused ONLY if:

  • The fastener and its counterpart are clean and free from rust.
  • The fastener develops a specified amount of torque/drag against its counterpart prior to the fastener seating. Refer to the appropriate service procedure for the prevailing torque value.

If the fastener does not meet these criteria, REPLACE the fastener.
