Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the ELEC/TRAILER fuse.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.

    Important:  When removing the link, do NOT bend or break the sensor arm.

  3. Remove the automatic level control sensor link from the tie rod ball stud.
  4. Remove the ball stud from the rear axle tie rod.
