Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  When replacing the height sensor a diagnostic system check must be performed.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Remove the automatic level control height sensor electrical connector (1).
  3. Remove the automatic level control height sensor link from the bal stud. Refer to AUTOMATIC LEVEL CONTROL SENSOR LINK REPLACEMENT   .

  4. Remove the automatic level control height sensor bracket bolts (1).
  5. Remove the automatic level control height sensor from the vehicle.
  6. Remove the automatic level control height sensor link from the sensor arm.
