Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the battery (2) within the positive (+) side down. Use one 3 V CR2302 battery or the equivalent.
  2. Align both halves (6,4) of the transmitter.

  3. Ensure that the seal if positioned correctly.
  4. Close the transmitter case.
  5. Resynchronize the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
  6. Replace the battery when the range of the transmitter decreases to less than 7 mm (23 ft).
