Scan Tool Data Definitions

Door Jamb Switch: The scan tool displays On/Off. The input of the passenger door open switch, where a closed switch (passenger door open) is displayed as On.

Door Key Cyl. Unlock Sw: The scan tool displays On/Off. Display indicates the state of the door lock cylinder switch.

Driver Door Jamb Sw: The scan tool displays On/Off. Display indicates the state of driver door jamb switch, where a closed switch (driver door open) is displayed as On.

Horn Output: The scan tool displays On/Off. Display indicates the command state of the BCM horn output.

Ignition Switch The scan tool displays Accessory, Off/Lock, Off/Lock, Run, Crank, Display indicates the state of the ignition switch.

Low Beam Output The scan tool displays On/Off. The command state of the low beams control.

Park Lamp Relay Output The scan tool displays On/Off. Display indicates the command state of the BCM park lamp relay output.

Theft Deterrent The scan tool displays Armed, Arm Delay, Armed Initiate, Off, Ready. Display indicates the state of the theft deterrent system.

Trunk Tamper Switch The scan tool displays On/Off. Display indicates the state of the trunk tamper switch.

PCM/VCM in VTD Fail Enable The scan tool displays which state the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is currently in for the Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD).

VTD Fuel Disable The scan tool displays the state of which the fuel delivery system is in.

VTD Password The scan tool displays if the fuel enable password sent to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) upon cranking is OK or Incorrect.

VTD Auto Learn Timer The scan tool displays which state the learn timer for the VTD is currently in.
