Programming the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver

IMPORTANT: The vehicle comes equipped with two transmitters. The receiver can be programmed to accept up to four transmitters. Additional transmitters are available. If the number of transmitters programmed exceeds four, the previously programmed transmitters will be erased in order, starting with the first transmitter.

To program the receiver to accept the transmitter, follow the procedure.

  1. Set the receiver to the reprogramming mode by installing a 5 amp fused jumper wire from cavity 8 (3) to cavity 4 (2) of the data link connector (1). The door locks will lock and unlock once to indicate you are in the reprogramming mode.
