Removal Procedure

  1. Using a small flat bladed tool, pry the OnStar® bezel tab down away from the overhead console.
  2. Remove the overhead console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT -- OVERHEAD (SINGLE) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT -- OVERHEAD (DUAL) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT -- OVERHEAD (CF5) in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the OnStar® electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the 2 screws that retain the OnStar® bezel to the overhead console.
  5. Remove the OnStar® button assembly from the overhead console.
