Power Steering Gear Heat Shield Bolts 14 N.m 124 lb ft
Power Steering Gear Nuts - at Frame(1) 80 N.m 59 lb ft
Power Steering Pump Bolts 34 N.m 25 lb ft
Power Steering Pump Flow Control Valve 75 N.m 55 lb ft
Tie Rod Ball Stud Nut(1) 30 N.m + 120 degrees - 2 flats(2) 22 lb ft + 120 degrees -2 flats(2)
Tie Rod Jam Nut 68 N.m 50 lb ft
(1) This is a prevailing torque type fastener. This fastener may be reused ONLY if:

  • The fastener and its counterpart are clean and free from rust
  • The fastener develops a specified amount of torque/drag against its counterpart prior to the fastener seating. Refer to the appropriate service procedure for the prevailing torque value.

If the fastener does not meet these criteria, REPLACE the fastener.
(2) Ensure that 2.5-4.5 tie rod end threads are visible beyond the tie rod ball stud nut nylon.
