Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel filler tube into the fuel tank.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fuel filler tube attaching screw (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the attaching screw to 11.5 N.m (102 lb in).

  3. Connect the fuel filler tube hose and clamp (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel fill hose clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the fuel filler tube screws at the fuel filler pocket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel filler tube screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Refill the fuel tank.
  7. Inspect for fuel leaks.
