Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.

  3. Remove the throttle position (TP) sensor harness connector.

  5. Remove the TP sensor attaching fasteners.
  6. NOTE: The TP sensor is an electrical component. Do not soak the TP sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent as damage may result.

  7. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body assembly.
