Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Flex Hoses & Chassis Fuel Pipes

  1. Connect the fuel flex hoses (1, 5) to the engine fuel pipes. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
  2. Connect the fuel flex hoses (1, 5) to the chassis fuel pipes (2, 4). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
  3. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  5. Inspect for fuel leaks using the following procedure:
    1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
    2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
    3. Turn ON the ignition.
    4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
