Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the OnStar® navigation antenna. Refer to Navigation Antenna Replacement in Cellular Communication.
  2. Install the stationary window into the opening. Refer to Urethane Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows .
  3. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
  4. Install the windshield interior garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar in Interior Trim.

  5. Install the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Rearview Mirror Replacement .
  6. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  7. Install the windshield frame filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper Front Fender in Body Front End.
  8. Close the hood
  9. Install the fixed antenna. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
  10. Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  11. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  12. Install the OnStar® cellular antenna. Refer to Coupling Replacement - Antenna Inner and Coupling Replacement - Antenna Outer in Cellular Communication.
