Theft Deterrent Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
1 Theft Deterrent Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
  2. Release the plastic retaining arms on the theft deterrent module and slide it of the ignition lock cylinder case.
  3. Program the theft deterrent module after reinstallation. Refer to Immobilizer System Component Programming .
