MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove intake manifold air inlet duct (2).
2. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the 2 MAF sensor bracket attaching bolts (5).
4. Remove the MAF sensor (1) from the air filter housing (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the MAF sensor (1) into the air filter housing (4).
2. Secure the MAF sensor with the 2 bolts (5).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector (3).
4. Install intake manifold air inlet duct (2).
