Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure and fuel vapor temperature sensor.
3. Remove the two fasteners (1).
4. Remove the sensor (2) from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel tank pressure and fuel vapor temperature sensor (2) with a new O-ring seal (3) to the fuel tank.
2. Secure the sensor with the two fasteners (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 3.5 N.m (30 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
4. Install the fuel tank.
