Removal Procedure

  1. Using a small flat bladed tool, pry the OnStar® bezel tab down away from the overhead console.
  2. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (Single) , Console Replacement - Overhead (Dual) or Console Replacement - Overhead (CF5) in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the OnStar® electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the 2 screws that retain the OnStar® bezel to the overhead console.
  5. Remove the OnStar® button assembly from the overhead console.
