Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the nuts securing the seat belt (1) lower anchor bracket to the floor.
Tighten: Tighten the anchor nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

Install the seat belt retractor (2) to the B-pillar (1).
Use the J 29843-9 in order to install the retractor bolt (3).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

Install the plastic escutcheon (3) into the B-pillar trim where the retractor side seat belt webbing exits.
Install the center pillar lower trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
Install the center pillar upper trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
Install the nut securing the upper guide loop anchor (2) to the B-pillar.
Tighten: Tighten the anchor nut to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).
Install the shoulder belt guide cover to the adjuster bracket (2).
