Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
Remove the CMP sensor.
Inspect the CMP sensor O-rings for wear, cracks, or leakage if the sensor is being reused. Replace the O-rings if damaged.
