Brake Lamp

The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the BRAKE indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Cluster State

The scan tool displays Programmed or Not Programmed. The state of the IPC programming.

Cruise Lamp

The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the CRUISE indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Driver Door Open Sw.

The scan tool displays Open or Closed. The BCM monitors the driver door ajar switch. A closed switch is displayed as Open.

Door Ajar Switches

The scan tool displays Open or Closed. The BCM monitors the state of the passenger door switches. A closed switch is displayed as Open.

ECT Sensor

The scan tool displays -40 to +151°C (-40 to +304°F). The PCM monitors the voltage at the signal circuit of the engine coolant temperature sensor. The voltage is inversely proportional to the engine coolant temperature.

Engine Oil Level Switch

The scan tool displays OK or Low. The PCM monitors the signal circuit of the engine oil level switch. An open switch with low engine oil level is displayed as Low.

Engine Oil Life Remaining

The scan tool displays 0-100%. The PCM calculates the remaining engine oil life.

Engine Oil Pressure Switch

The scan tool displays OK or Low. The PCM monitors the signal circuit of the engine oil pressure switch. An open switch with low engine oil pressure is displayed as Low.

Engine Speed

The scan tool displays 0-9999 RPM. Engine speed is computed by the PCM from the 3X reference input. It should remain close to desired idle under various engine loads with the engine idling.

English/Metric State

The scan tool displays English or Metric. The default units that are programmed into the IPC based on the part number. This state will not change when the units are changed via the driver information center (DIC).

Fuel Tank Level Remaining

The scan tool displays 0-100%. The PCM calculates the amount of fuel remaining in the tank based on the input from the fuel level sensor. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel level percent.

Headlamp Switch

The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The BCM monitors the headlamp switch signal circuit. A closed switch is displayed as Active.

Hi Beam Lamp

The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the high beam indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Hi Res. Speed Failed

The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state will be Yes if the IPC does not receive a valid vehicle speed class 2 message from the PCM.

Ignition 1

The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC displays On if it senses voltage at the ignition 1 input.

Key In Ignition

The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The BCM monitors the key in ignition switch. A closed switch with the key in the ignition is displayed as Active.

Left Turn Signal

The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the left turn signal switch. A closed switch is displayed as On.

Low Brake Fluid

The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the brake fluid level indicator switch. A closed switch with low brake fluid is displayed as On.

Low Brake Fluid Report

The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state will be Yes if the IPC sends a class 2 message to the EBCM indicating low brake fluid.

Low Coolant Lamp

The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the engine coolant indicator module. A closed switch with low coolant level is displayed as On.

Low Fuel Indicator Off

The scan tool displays a percentage. This is the calibration value the IPC uses in order to determine when to turn off the low fuel indicator in the message center. It is based on the class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel level percent.

Low Fuel Indicator On

The scan tool displays a percentage. This is the calibration value the IPC uses in order to determine when to illuminate the low fuel indicator in the message center. It is based on the class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel level percent.

Low Fuel Indicator Time

The scan tool displays counts. This is the calibration value the IPC uses in order to control the delay before the IPC illuminates the low fuel indicator in the message center. The counts correspond to seconds.

Low Res. Speed Failed

The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state will be On if the IPC does not receive a valid wheel speed class 2 message from the EBCM. The wheel speed is used as a back up if the IPC does not receive a valid vehicle speed class 2 message from the EBCM.

Low Washer Lamp

The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the windshield washer solvent level switch. A closed switch with low washer fluid is displayed as On.

Odometer Msg. Failed

The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state will be Yes if the IPC does not receive a valid odometer rolling count class 2 message from the PCM.

Park Brake Switch

The scan tool displays On or Off. The BCM monitors the signal circuit of the park brake switch. A closed switch with the park brake engaged is displayed as On.

Park Lamp Switch

The scan tool displays On or Off. The BCM monitors the park lamp switch signal circuit. A closed switch is displayed as On.
