Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: The notch on the plunger will be fully visible when the plunger is all the way out.

  1. Pull the switch plunger all the way out to prepare for adjustment. It may require the use of moderate force.
  2. Connect the cruise brake switch harness connector. Push the connector in until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
  3. Install the cruise brake switch into the bracket and rotate 180 degrees while holding the brake pedal down during installation.
  4. Adjust the cruise brake switch by pulling the brake pedal all the way up by hand. The switch internal ratchet mechanism will lock the switch in the adjusted position.
  5. Install the left side lower heater duct and push pin fastener.
  6. Install the left side lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) and push pin fasteners.
