Removal Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Remove the cruise control module to bracket bolts leaving the bracket attached to the frame rail.
- Remove the cruise control throttle cable clip attached to the front of the dash.
- Pull the cruise control module up behind the power brake booster.
- Disconnect the cruise control module harness connector.

- Disconnect the cruise control throttle cable snap from the throttle body cam.
- Unclip the cruise control throttle cable from both attachment clips.
- Disconnect the cruise control throttle cable from the module by rotating the cable 1/4 turn counter-clockwise at the module.
- Remove the cable from the connecting strap.
- Remove and discard the cut cruise control throttle cable and replace with an adjustable cruise control throttle cable.
