Transmitter Battery Replacement: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Under normal use, the battery in the transmitter should last approximately 2 years.

If the battery does not operate at the normal range in any location, the battery is weak. If you have to get close to the vehicle before the transmitter works, change the battery. The required remote control door lock transmitter battery is Lithium CR 2032.
