Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the wiper drive system module to the air inlet panel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the wiper drive system module screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement .
  4. Install the cruise control and bracket. Refer to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
  7. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
