Installation Procedure

Slide the ECM into the ECM bracket on the front of the battery box.
Push down on the ECM until the retaining tab snaps into place.

Connect the engine harness electrical connectors to the ECM.
Slide the lever locks downward to secure the connectors.

Connect the body harness electrical connectors to the ECM.
Slide the lever lock downward to secure the connector.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
If a NEW ECM was installed, the ECM must be programmed. Refer to CONTROL MODULE REFERENCES .
